On Saturday (June 19), at around 4:17 a.m., a cyclist had gotten into an accident at Yio Chu Kang Link. His high-pitched wails could be heard throughout the entire neighbourhood.

According to the person who had recorded the incident, the cyclist was first seen wailing by the roadside and clutching his leg in pain.

A few minutes later, the wailing stopped and the cyclist was seen scolding the driver of a white car.

Thinking that the cyclist had lost his leg or broke a bone, the man called for an ambulance while filming. When the paramedics arrived, he was relieved to see that the cyclist was able to stand on his own.

However, this led to more confusion as he was unsure of what the cyclist was crying over.

Netizens' reactions

Once the video was posted, netizens quickly commented on the cyclist's ghostly cries, with some speculating that he could have been crying over the damage done to his bicycle.

TBH, it would be pretty scary to hear those cries at 4 in the morning.

While the extent of the cyclist's injuries is still unknown, we hope that everything is alright and we wish him a speedy recovery!

from the comment above, a $3,599 carbon frame justify wailing cry from the cyclist at 4am, we need to empathise and give chance , even at $20k road bike , all cyclists should be than more understanding towards car owners!!!  if this is the mindset! because the cheapest car close eyes also above $50k as CAT A COE now also $50k liao.

so please ride in pavement or park, if die die need to be on the road obey traffic rules and dun ride side by side road hog like cyclists own the road!!!

be understanding towards cars owners! dun even give our car a fine scratch !

thank you

For some when riding, like a hero, so daring to challenge the traffic and ride like there's no other traffic behind. When kana hit like this case, whine like baby.

I showed the video to my two children who are below 12yo. They burst out in laughter.

I still couldnt believe this came from a grown man, a dude.

Whoever know the cyclist's profile pls post it here.

Maybe he crashed and his scrotum landed roundly on the bicycle frame. If it happened to me i would also shout like that but in higher pitch, for 20 mins.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
