Fierce Jaguar F-PACE runs away like a scaredy cat after hitting camcar

A white Jaguar F-PACE miscalculates camcar's actions and switches lanes too early, resulting in an unexpected hit-and-run.

The video starts with the camcar and several other vehicles patiently waiting for the green light at the junction between Bukit Timah and Kheam Hock Road.

Upon the appearance of the green light, all cars start to move off, with the Honda Jazz in front of the camcar making a right turn.

It is at this moment that the white Jaguar F-PACE decides to filter to the right lane, as the driver assumes that the camcar would be making a right turn as well instead of going straight ahead.

This results in a pretty nasty hit between both vehicles.

Unlike the fierceness of the vehicle's name, the Jaguar driver immediately increases his speed and runs away after the hit.

Do you see the resemblance?

The location of the accident

While most would agree that the Jaguar F-PACE was being too 'kan chiong' in his judgement, some questioned if the camcar was in a right-turn only lane.

Upon further research, here is a quick screengrab of the location.

According to the video, the camcar was in Lane 1, which is a lane where vehicles can turn right or go straight ahead, while the Jaguar was in the middle lane.

It's so sad that this is the reality when it comes to dealing with rich and arrogant drivers. 😞

Oof, if only the Jaguar driver would have thought to slow down and check his mirrors before filtering.

TBH, it is easy to prevent an accident like this from happening if the Jaguar driver is alert and did the proper checks before switching lanes. However, the way he ran off afterwards is simply a cowardly action - it's not like he does not have the money to settle the damages (judging from his vehicle). I hope the camcar can catch this driver and receive the proper payout he deserves!

The Jaguar should have waited a bit more before stepping on the accelerator, making it as if he may be caught between the car in front of him shifting right as well, at times he know his F-space pick-up is a lot faster, i put it as he knows he has it to take it, what surprises us was the SUV took off like grease lighting. Yes he should have slow slow down, then it doesn't sounds like scooting off . . .

Jaguar had to run because camcar is Lion. If Jaguar didn't run away, it would be mauled down by the Lion.

Also I don't understand. Why the camcar didn't give chase? Seen a few cases like this. If its me, i'll turn it into the road rash game.

  • We (try to) identify all 14 vehicles involved in the massive chain collision on the PIE

Personally, I strictly employ the 2-second rule, especially during heavy (heavier) traffic and wet weather.  The extra distance and time provided by the 2-second rule will be crucial for you to react accordingly when the car in front of you performs an abrupt brake. Watch what happens when one doesn't leave a safe distance from the car ahead: What Happened? A total of 14 vehicles were involved in 3 clusters of accidents along lane 1 of the PIE, with two clusters bei

Lady driver loses control of car sharing Mazda 3, mounts a kerb and crashes into a metal railing at a carpark

Over the years, car-sharing drivers have developed a bad reputation (especially the electric vehicle ones. Not going to mention names). Today we have a GetGo Mazda 3 though. Throw in a lady driver into the mix and here is what you will get:  What Happened? This incident occurred at an open-air carpark located in Jurong West. The video above was filmed by a resident staying directly at the block above the carpark. The driver supposedly loses control of a GetGo

Motorcyclist rear-ends a Renault Fluence and does an Olympic-worthy, perfect 10 flip

This motorcyclist shows us why it’s important to always keep your eyes on the road! In this video, a seemingly distracted motorcyclist follows closely behind a white Renault Fluence as the pair navigates through roads filled with busy roadworks. Throughout the entire video, the motorcyclist could be seen tilting his head up and down multiple times. Upon approaching an underground tunnel entrance, the white PHV slows down to join the long queue of vehicles waiting to

$800,000 Mercedes G63 gets chased by a Volkwagen van, rear-ends a stationary Honda Vezel at a red light

It is not every day you get to see the legendary Mercedes G63 in Singapore.  And it is even rarer to see one involved in an accident.  Watch it here:  What Happened? A Mercedes G63 and a Volkswagen Transporter 'chiong-ed' along Yishun Ave 8 upon the red traffic light signal turning green.  Its 4.0-Litre Bi-Turbocharged V8 engine and all-wheel-drive drivetrain instantly picked up speed.  Directly behind the G-wagon was the Volkswagen Transporter.  Alth
