A bus driver fails to stay in his lane and swipes the side of a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The video starts with the cam car approaching a traffic junction as he drives down MacPherson road.

The driver promptly stops right behind a green SMRT bus in the middle lane. On the right lane, a red Mitsubishi Eclipse patiently waits for the green arrow indicator to light up.

As the light turns green, both the bus and Eclipse start to move forward into the junction.

The bus then makes its right turn, cutting into the path of the red Eclipse.

Upset that he is unable to make his turn, the driver of the car proceeds to spam the horn at the bus, which sounds a lot like a proximity sensor.

The bus driver adamantly continues to make the turn, which led to the gigantic vehicle swiping the left side of the Eclipse.

The video ends with the red car finally making its turn.

Reckless bus drivers

Earlier this year, an SBS bus driver almost collided with another driver after making a reckless right turn at Piccadilly Junction.

The driver was going through the junction as the traffic light turns amber.

Instead of stopping, the bus suddenly makes a right turn, causing the driver to swerve out of the way.

While Singapore has seen its fair share of bus drivers driving recklessly, this incident raises an important question.

Are our current training routines and regulations sufficient for bus drivers or should there be more implemented?

PHVs turn as if they are driving a bus using a very big turn

and bus drivers drive as if they driving a PHVs cut into the next lane.

:D

They need to switch jobs.

New gen of bus drivers suck at driving. Turning too early exactly like a lot of the new gen of drivers do.

Watch a rear tailgate of a truck break off and whack an Audi TT on the TPE. Ouch!

Have you ever had to carry your family’s groceries in one trip after they have been on an NTUC run? Usually, it takes two or three trips (with a trolley) to haul back all of the plastic bags but every once in a while, your parents might hit you with the “It’s fine. It’s not that heavy. You can carry all of them back with your hands.”. While you try your best to balance the hefty weight on your arms, your body might feel like it’s going to burst any second. Well, that’s what happened with this truck. On Saturday (4 Dec), a cam car caught the moment when the rear tailgate of a truck suddenly broke off the vehicle on the expressway. After snapping off, the heavy tailgate cartwheeled across the road, hitting the side of a white Audi TT. While the rest of the truck was encased by a cloud of soil, the cam car immediately came to a halt after witnessing the horrific hit. The cam driver hopes that his video will assist the white Audi TT in making an insurance claim for any damages done. How did this happen? Although this was not the first time we heard of a vehicle getting hit by some random part of another vehicle, incidents like this should not be a common occurrence. Last week, a tyre fell from a different truck and hit another vehicle on the PIE. While there were no injuries reported, the scene of a flying tyre is more than enough to traumatize a driver. Even though there are no solid details on what happened in this video, netizens were quick to speculate several possibilities. The first was that the truck driver failed to maintain his vehicle correctly and did not perform the necessary checks to ensure that his truck was safe to drive. The other possibility was that the load of soil that the truck was carrying was too heavy, resulting in the tailgate's sudden breakage. While we might not know for sure how this happened, we’re glad that nobody was severely injured from this potentially deadly incident. Container truck swerves to avoid lorry on PIE, mauls down multiple cars in the process

If you frequent the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) for your daily commute, you may have experienced a major traffic jam on Monday morning (27 Sep).  Here's the reason behind the major jam during the morning peak hour:  What Happened? The accident took place along the PIE, involving multiple vehicles.  A blue container truck swerved across multiple lanes to avoid a lorry on Lane 3 of the PIE. This resulted in the container truck colliding into multiple vehicles, causing a significant amount of collateral damage. The accident caused a severe standstill jam that choked up the PIE, leaving only 1 out of 3 lanes passable. The Outcome  The video showed 6 vehicles involved in the accident – The tipper truck, 3 lorries, 1 Toyota Corolla and 1 Hyundai Advante.  The impact from the collision was so great that fumes began to emit from the engine bay of the Hyundai Avante.  One lorry had its side completely torn off as a result of the collision. As a result of this massive accident, debris was strewn across the PIE.  PSA: If you happen to drive past this stretch of the PIE, do check your tyres for any puncture.  UPDATE: A total of 13 people were injured from the accident. While 10 of them were conveyed to the hospital, 3 of them were assessed by SCDF for minor injuries and refused to be conveyed to the hospital.  An Underlying Matter Despite all the attention on the accident itself, there is an underlying issue – The safe transportation of foreign workers. Online sources mentioned multiple workers were present in the lorries when the accident occurred.  Accidents like the above are why stricter regulations that enforce a safer mode of transporting foreign workers should be mandated.  If you agree with me and want to make a change, do sign the online petition below:
https://www.change.org/p/land-transport-authority-make-it-mandatory-to-transport-workers-in-buses-or-vans I hope all those involved in the accident are alright. Netizens' Comments Claim insurance for a normal accident also headache already, let alone this one. Indeed, there was nothing that cars on lane 1 and 2 could do. Whoa there cowboy! Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions.

Stupid or ignorant? Mercedes driver films himself speeding and post it online for the world to see

Not gonna lie; Mercedes does have some sick, sporty-looking instrument clusters in their cars. But don't get me wrong, driving a Mercedes Coupe with a sporty-looking instrument cluster is not equivalent to driving a sports car. Watch this video to find out what I mean by that:  What Happened This 15-second video seemed to be originally posted on the Mercedes driver's Instagram story. In the video, the driver performs a "launch control" upon the traffic light turning green.  With all the fancy instrument clusters of his car, you would assume that he is driving a Mercedes sports car. But here is the anti-climatic part: It took the driver exactly 11 seconds to get from 0-101km/h. (That is equivalent to a Honda Civic's 0-100km/h timing) I mean, a Honda Vezel Hybrid could probably outrun his Mercedes C180 Coupe in a 0 to 100km/h race EFFORTLESSLY. But do you see Honda Vezel drivers taking video of themselves "launching" their cars? NOPE.  Before the video ended, the driver could be seen hitting a speed of 118km/h.  License Kantong Already Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and assume the speed limit of that stretch of road is 70km/h; the driver still exceeded the speed limit by 48km/h. Also, don't forget the driver's usage of his mobile phone to capture this priceless moment.  According to the Road Traffic Act, exceeding the vehicular speed limit by 41 to 50km/h will result in 12 demerit points and prosecution in court.  Furthermore, using a mobile device while driving will result in 12 demerit points and a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment of up to 6 months or both (1st-time offenders).  Well, that is 24 demerit points and a court date just for that 15-second video. The driver's stupidity is pretty darn amazing.  Netizens' Comments Straight up facts. I doubt he can take corners and use his phone to film simulateneously🤐
Wah, you didn't have to do him dirty like that.     ======== Receive a $10 PayNow transfer for every submission we publish on Facebook! Simply WhatsApp us ➡️ https://bit.ly/3c6JERA

Father and son almost get crushed by C-HR with p-plates

TL;DR – A parked C-HR with p-plates suddenly accelerates and almost mauls a father and son at an open-air carpark. Things would have gotten ugly if they had been one second slower.     There can be miracles While some of us might not be believers, a recent video uploaded on Roads.sg might change your mind. The incident occurred on 10th September 2021. Here’s the 35-second video: A one-second difference between life and death In an open-air carpark, location unknown, a father and his son casually walk past a cam car. If you observe the video, you’ll notice a black Toyota C-HR directly opposite the cam car slowly inching forward as the father and son enter the frame. The C-HR then suddenly accelerates and crashes into the cam car just as the lucky duo clears the danger. If it had been a second earlier, the father and son would have been caught in the collision. Let’s address the elephant in the room I’m sure everyone noticed the p-plates on the C-HR. Could it be because of the driver’s inexperience?   Or it could have been a case of the driver talking on his phone? He was wearing his wireless earphones. And, if so, why wasn't his handbrake up? Online Chatter But, by 2040, no more manual car already. If everyone drives like this in 2040, scary eh! I’m just glad that by some miracle, a family did not lose a father and a son to a negligent driver.     --- Thinking of selling your car? sgCarMart Quotz guarantees the highest selling price for your car.
