Cyclist rear ends taxi almost causing a fatal domino effect with cam car and a cement truck

An incident at Mandai road resulted from a cyclist failing to keep to his prescribed lane, and then managing to rear-end a taxi and almost causing a chain of events that could have ended badly for the cyclist.

Watch the video for yourself below

The cam car behind him had to jam brake at the very last minute, which resulted in the cement truck having to stop in time to avoid colliding into the camcar.

The significant inconvenience that this cyclist caused simply because he was too irresponsible to abide by road regulations is ridiculous.

If i were held up by this buffoon i’ll certainly be very angry. It does seem like he doesn’t value his own life as well, given that not only did this inconvenience other road users, but definitely put himself in a lot of danger as well.

Personally, if I were held up by this cyclist, I’ll probably be royally pissed as well.

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post. But as we know, it isn't an option to begin with – no thanks, of course, to our lack of land space.  Someone also pointed out that the idea of tiny houses is "romanticised" – which, I don't deny (but hey, that's why it's a dream). While it's clear tiny houses aren't going to work out here, the concept of 'tiny living' is; not just physically but also mentally. Anyone who has lived enough years lo
