TL;DR - SG-registered BMW got called out for pumping cheap RON95 petrol in JB reserved for MY-registered vehicles only.

We all love a good cheap thrill.

But not as much as this BMW driver.

Watch this 75-second video of him not giving a hoot even after being called out by the cam-car.

What happened?

A SG-registered BMW driver was seen pumping RON95 petrol in Malaysia, when it is strictly only meant for MY-registered vehicles.

The way he strategically used his body to cover the petrol nozzle and bike rack to cover his car plate while fueling his BMW with the forbidden petrol, goes to show the number of times he has done this prior.

When confronted by the cam-car, he still continued - clearly unbothered, unfazed, thriving~

Online Comments:

Reactions to the BMW driver being called out were pretty mixed.
Many felt that this practice was very exploitative, giving Singaporeans a bad name.

On the other hand, some argued that Singaporeans who pump cheap petrol in Malaysia still do stimulate the economy in other ways, such as shopping/dining there.

If you look at the big picture, who is doing the enforcement? The kiosk attendant? You think the sg A-hole will respect the attendant? This is just waiting to happen.

97/98 is already so cheap there, why bother to be a cheapskate to save that few cents to pump 95?

  • Pedestrian defies gravity and lands on his back after Mazda 5 crashes into him at Yuan Ching Road

TL;DR - Mazda 5 driver’s failure to obey traffic rules sent a pedestrian flying at Yuan Ching Road.  This Mazda driver definitely lives up to the standard of being a ‘kiasu’ Singaporean.  Watch this to see what I mean.  What Happened?  A (dramatic) footage surfaced on SGRV of a Mazda driver knocking down a pedestrian and sending him in the air at Yuan Ching Road.   The traffic light was green for pedestrian crossing (with a significant number of seconds left) when a

Non-stop rain erodes SG roads causing 'bumper and undercarriage deadly potholes' to appear

TL;DR - More road potholes spotted around Singapore after days of continuous downpour, resulting in imbalance of roads and bumpy vehicles.  Potholes are just the worst. Watch this 63-second video of different vehicles driving past multiple road potholes. What are potholes? The smallest road flaws can develop into potholes. Due to water seepage and ongoing pressure from heavy cars, these crevices enlarge. A pothole is created when specific sections of the road deteriorate

A taxi and a Toyota Corolla Altis travel on the fast lane of the causeway, but only one gets caught by the Malaysian police?

TL:DR – A Singaporean-registered Altis and a Trans cab travel on the fast lane of the causeway, but only the Altis gets apprehended by the Malaysian police.   There are no shortcuts in life. Likewise, in recent times, there have been no shortcuts on the causeway. If you’re sick and tired of waiting in the queue, you can always try your luck on the fast lane. You might get away with it, and you might not. Just like these two vehicles in the 43-second video below.

E-bike YP tries to assert dominance after receiving warning honk for filtering to center lane

TL;DR - YP thinks he's Him, scolds driver after giving honk for dangerous riding. (To be "Him" is to be a dominant figure, a blooming flower in a garden full of weeds. It's a feeling of euphoric confidence, the type of disposition that only occurs when you leave your opposition cowering in fear.)(The Sporting News) Before this article fully begins, please picture in your head the true blue Singaporean YP.  With dyed brown hair, popular sneakers, swearing in Chinese dialect, and out and abou
