Could 100 of us take on a Gorilla?

This is what the internet should be about: Debating trivial hypotheticals instead of spewing hateful content.

Yes, we are a little late to the trend. But still, this one's still worth talking about we think. So, obviously, no use of weapons or armour, and no use of erm, more unconventional methods like this guy is suggesting…

But could 100 examples of you take on a gorilla?

Wikipedia informs us that a gorilla can typically reach a height of up to 1.8 metres and weigh up to 270kg - which is quite a bit of muscle to contend with. And there's other things to consider, like the fact that they can deliver a bite force of 1,300PSI - apparently nearly double that of a lion.

Clearly, the prospects for the first few thrown into the maw aren’t rosy. But what are your chances if, say for example, you're number 32? Or 86? Or what about if it's 100 MMA fighters against a gorilla?

It looks like people on the net are pretty divided on exactly which side will win, or how many people are actually needed to take down one gorilla:

We like this video in particular, which is chock-a-block full of internet memes all in one short video:

We like this automotive one in particular…Untitled1024.thumb.jpg.ff2420eb3cc69212fe0f29a140055e31.jpg

Teslas are no longer the hot stuff they used to be. Obviously.

So, what do you think? And how many examples of you will be needed to take on one gorilla? Is the dress gold/white or blue/black? Or maybe closer to hand, is it easier to take on one silverback or another afternoon in the office?

  • A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the

    The Joys of Morning Walks

Like most other folks stuck in the rut of smartphone-hyper-use, I recently caught myself doing the same each morning: Waking up to immediately reach for my phone. Reflecting on the first quarter of the year, however – and realising that I’ve been subconsciously plunged into an extended bout of languidness – brought me to the realisation: Perhaps it's time to embrace a different routine. One that started with stepping outside into the crisp morning air, and feeling the gentle warmth of

We did not realise that the immigration process at the Hong Kong Kowloon West station involved both the Hong Kong and Chinese authorities, so we found ourselves in a rush to board the train (we boarded minutes before the scheduled departure). Through the eight-hour journey, the passing sights made me realise the diversity
