Brake "spongy" feeling

There are many types of brake fluid testers, some mech use litmus like paper strips to do PH testing, some use them for testing copper particles but most testers are designed for testing % of water.

The most advance tester actually boil the brake fluid with a heating element. Other use electronic to calculate the water %

Ownself do first level check lor, rather than let workshop point until no tomorrow lor.

Every cent is hard earn money lor, these cheap cheap tools may help lor ..... if cost USD20 then better call Ah Huat...lor

Er ....... it don't work like that one.  Green only means power up.

You should at least see 1 yellow ...... 2 yellow say OK wor.

And the usual Red means Love, Blood, Red Cross, Red Lantern or Danger, ya..

This premium quality brake fluid tester use a heater device to boil the brake fluid.Once the brake fluid fails to reach the specifications boiling point that means the fluid have absorb too must moisture from the surrounding

Hearsay that nowadays for newer cars with all the electronics braking, it is not as simple as bleeding via vaccum/pedal depression. It requires some machine calibration. True?
