Yeah everything not necessary just add weight.

Take out to lighten the car and save fuel.

Of course there are many ways to save fuel.

A white or silver car will use less aircon than a black car as the black paint will absorb more heat while the white or silver will reflect off heat. Aircon works harder uses more fuel.

A car with good window tinting will also be cooler and use aircon than a car with no tinting. So I always go for the darkest tint legally possible.

Insulate your cold aircon pipes so when you on your aircon you don't get a blast of hot air in your face will also save fuel.

Keep your tires properly inflated will also reduce fuel consumption.

Change engine, transmission and brake fluid regularly and use the correct viscosity and use fully synthetic also help your engine run more efficiently also save fuel.

Change your timing belt or chain at the correct interval also save fuel as when the belt stretches it loses efficiency.

Some people have a habit that they don't realise that they always brake on the highway when they don't need to.

Accelerate to the back of a truck and then press brake, slight down slope press brake, a bit of a bend on the highway press brake.

Accelerate hard to a red light and then brake hard waste fuel.

Carry a lot of junk that you never use in the boot also waste fuel.

A clean shiny car that is well waxed or polished also uses less fuel than a dirty car. This is why men that ride bicycles shave their legs as the little bit of leg hair adds to drag.

This is also why middle age men that wear lycra ride expensive bicycles also leave their brains at home because the extra weight means they have to peddle harder.

A fat MIL also add weight and increases fuel consumption. So if you must get married and their is no law that says you must, choose a wife with a slim mother will save you money in the long run.

Playing a CD in your car adds to fuel consumption while playing an MP3 or radio uses less fuel. The laser uses a lot more electricity than a radio or MP3. This is the reason we have guns and missiles on jet fighters and not lasers like Star Wars.

Big and small spoilers, extra body kits that add to drag also increases fuel. Any body kits that makes the car more aerodynamic will increase fuel efficiency.

If you drive to KL at night instead of during the day also uses less fuel as no sun and less traffic. Go JB to pump petrol at 2.30 am when less jam at the Causeway also uses less fuel.

Accelerate to overtake someone on the highway just to brake hard to move from lane 1 to 3 to get off the highway also waste fuel and I see that all the time.

Using a battery desulfier to keep your battery in optimal state also save fuel as the spark plugs are getting the fuel electric charge. Driving with a weak battery like you engine going to die anytime will use more fuel.

Smooth acceleration and driving with the engine at the smoothest and quietest also save fuel.

Adding unnecessary fog lamps just add weight, increases drag and because people spent money to add these stupid fog lamps they must use it in evenings with a little bit of rain also increase fuel consumption.

You forgot the most important tip - Don't drive, save 100% petrol!
