Laser Neutral Newbie January 31, 2006 Share January 31, 2006 Which will you chose? If you are early 30, self-employed and sometimes needs to fetch client around. Can't decide cause both car cost about the same, civic comes with more standard equ. But accord gives the more exective look. Vit4wd 1st Gear January 31, 2006 Share January 31, 2006 Civic is great value as it is made in Japan. But like all new cars, I'd rather give time to allow Honda Japan to iron out all possible defects are usually found in newly launched cars. Subaru Legacy 2.0A at S$78K is another great buy. Black320 1st Gear February 1, 2006 Share February 1, 2006 Ever Consider Mazda 6 or Cerfio as alternative. Especially the Cerfio for the coporate looks But to choose between the 2, if price is not issue, it will be the accord
Kelpie 2nd Gear February 1, 2006 Share February 1, 2006 Subaru sedan cars usually have samller rear cabin than cars of the same class. Regards,
Yaloryalor 5th Gear February 1, 2006 Share February 1, 2006 Yes, I agreed too. Accord JDM's rear is very cramp. However, in terms of looks, power, value and image. Still a better choice.
Quantum 5th Gear February 1, 2006 Share February 1, 2006 Accord 2.0 is heavier than civic 2.0, and civic 2.0L is 155hp, but Accord 2.0L only 150hp , so civic2.0 has better P/W ratio
Normal_aspirated Clutched February 1, 2006 Share February 1, 2006 (edited) no more 1.6L or 1.8L Civics? Edited February 1, 2006 by Normal_aspirated
Quantum 5th Gear February 1, 2006 Share February 1, 2006 this comparasion is talking about 2.0L civic, 1.6L civic has been sold out , 1.8L civic c/w 2.0L civic .
Yaloryalor 5th Gear February 2, 2006 Share February 2, 2006 Hi Bro, How about the P/W ratio for the JDM Accord? The power is 155 hp. I think Civic 2.0 is still a "Civic". Not worth paying this amount for a "Civic". Dun misunderstand me, I like Civic and used to drove Civic also. Just feel that Accord and Civic is belong to diff class/ category lor. Firstcall Clutched February 3, 2006 Share February 3, 2006 new cars always launched at high prices. that shows how much they are trying to earn. Accord better buy, anytime.

EG6 ah or EK4 ah... although the new civic is quite executive... it's difficult to shake off the ah beng association... go for accord...

Spas Neutral Newbie February 3, 2006 Share February 3, 2006 Speaking of the Civic. I took a look at the new Civic - both 1.8 and 2.0litre versions recently. And i must say, they really look a lot of "goodies" out of the 1.8 litre version. No leather seats, cheaper looking interior, smaller rims... It's just pretty spartan looking on the inside. Pretty disappointed with the 1.8litre civic personally.
Evildoer Neutral Newbie February 3, 2006 Share February 3, 2006 go for the new civic as they are assembled in japan. ↡ Advertisement
