The Alpine SPS 171A not bad for its value at $250. My friend installed already running passive, sounds pretty decent to me

can help me find a good Amp for my speakers and Subwoofer, can i use my HU for the back speakers or do i need a 4 Channel Amp for it. My HU can pump 5owatts x 4 in which i am not sure about the power.

If you have low budget, can use your hu to power your rear speaker. If you can get a 4 channel amp, can use 2 channel for front(Passive) and 2 for rear speakers

felt the phd has a slight edge over the alpine. but then again, to each is own. best is to audit it yourself in a demo room and make your own comparison and judgement.

If the Specs say RMS 150 , thats means per 1speaker + 1 tweeter need 75 RMS is it rigth to say?

 

So for the front is 150 RMS and back is 140 RMS thats means i need at least 4 channel x 85 RMS , right or not ???

 

Or 290 RMS x 4 channel Amp........

Ya man, maybe changing the Alpine speakers la, cheap and good! the Alpine SPS-171A speakers really super value worth for its price, Very all rounded with impressive Mid bass!

This one Power about amps not so easy to explain in few words, eg.....some amps' power RMS are over-rated while some are under-rated

anyway i am looking at a JBL BP-600.1 Subwoofer Mono Amp ..for my sub dont know can a not????
