Seanboi 1st Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Hi, i got some queries regarding the above. Wonder whether it is compatible with all cars air con system anot? Eg. Nissan Sunny. Cuz i heard from someone, if incompatible (eg, diff visocity) will spoil e compressor. http://www.idemitsu-ils.com.sg/products/products.htm Any experts pls advice. ↡ Advertisement
Genie47 1st Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 One word of advice. Don't anyhow use. Auto A/C systems are in a class of their own. That is why your mechanic won't like to go near it and lets teh A/C specialist look into it.
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 (edited) Some Bros in Mazda Club had used it in their ride as current Mazda's aircon is not that effective due to engine layout According to them, the aircon become much cooler with the same setting as before My advise to you is same as per Bro Genie's For aircon thingy, get a aircon specialist to do it like Mark Cool Edited September 7, 2006 by Mzrmazda3
Zepil99 Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 i have done that and my ride is much cooler now. Its suppose to lubricate and protect the compressor, much like our engine oil. Its pour into the low pressure aircon pipe, ie the cold pipe, and your aircon need to be using the R134a gas type. anyway only those 10+ years car are still using the R12 gas. It works for Mz2 SP (my ride), Mz2, Mz3, Mz5 so far that i know. my guess is that its compatiable to R134a gas and as long as your compressor is running that gas, it should be ok. I know Vios club also recently did a MO for this gas.

Cuz i heard from someone, if incompatible (eg, diff visocity) will spoil e compressor. http://www.idemitsu-ils.com.sg/products/products.htm Any experts pls advice. For your information ,idemitsu is a brand for a compressor oil and there are many brands of compressor oil available in the market, but do you know that compressor oil like the engine oil also has it's grading of viscosity 150,100,46 ...... and it's better to find out your OE compressor oil before adding to it because it's will cause premature failure of the compressor CHEErios!
