12km/l??? camry 2.4 only manages around 9.5-10.5km/l (urban)

 

anyways, do note the PI RAV4 is the short wheelbase version. BM brings in the LWB version, which is why the third row glass panel is longer.

Hahahaha...I thought impossible too initially but a check at rav4 website and u'll see many are achieving this number! I have therefore decided to get it too.

 

My own reasoning is because of its 7-speed CVT and it's 2.4L so the power to weight ratio is good!

PI's RAV4 FC average 10-12km/l. Reason. 2WD, 7 speed gearbox. The ride is smoother than some people's buttskin...

I can confirmed u as member of Rav4 club even mine is the old model.

 

PI 2.4L SWB, 2WD

 

FC = 10-11

 

7 speed CVT

 

BM 2.4L LWB, 4 WD

 

FC below 9

 

4 speed AT

 

PI's Rav when travel at 100Km the RPM is only 1400 , then u can know

why it can give u good FC.
