Advice Needed: Corolla 10,000km Service (Odo 70,000km)

I need some advice what should I do and what parts should I change during the 10,000km servicing for my Corolla 1.3M (2000) they call it G8? the new "elephant" corolla is G9?

this is what i know i should do but maybe u can suggest more things?

change engine oil. (amsoil oil?)

change oil filter.

flush engine (some chemical pour in engine, drain out and pour engine oil)

injector cleaner (some liquid pour in petrol tank mix with full tank of petrol)

what else should i request to be check?

maybe can check your gear box oil, timing belt...

My reco. for 70K.

 

1. Change engine Oil - go for 10-40 or 10-50

2. Change Fuel Filter

3. Change ATF Fluid and Gasket

4. Change FAN Belt

5. Change Coolant

6. Change Brakes

7. Flush BRake Fluid

8. Throttle body cleaing.

 

No need to pour Fuel Cleaner if you are constant V-power user or Caltex Platinum.

 

Don;t flush engine.. it will destroy the gasket.. You only flush if you are still on mineral oil.

wats diff engine oil 10-40 & 10-50?

mine is manual gear. so got MTF?

wat is gasket?

what is throttle body cleaning?

Jasper Ng... Me Peter Lah... Hee hee Gasket is the rubber seal found in the joint part of the engine etc.... No MTF, only oil change i pressume... i also don't know what is the throttle body cleaning... need experienced guys help...

ya hi! someone said don't flush engine. but i will be getting the injector cleaner. i always see stp brand. dunno good or not. wanna meet friday we discuss la. try get a Toyota G8 group leh. hee.
