Our expressways seems to exhibit more potholes and uneven surface nowadays, especially after the rainy season. Can't remember a day where I didn't hit a rough patch.

Was there cost-cutting measures to use inferior asphalt on our roads ? [mad]

It could be the great amount of rain that had been pouring for the pass few weeks. Soil under the tar could had been soften and give way which created the potholes.

yes potholes can be caused by many reasons.. The most common cause is when water seeps into cracks in the surface of the road and, either by vibration of vehicle tires over the cracked area or stresses to the pavement by the weight of trucks and buses, causes the pavement to sink resulting in a pothole.

That's y so many potholes seem to reveal themselves after it rains.
