Good time to buy new car after Sept [thumbsup]

Maybe more will also be upgrading to bigger CC cars. [:)]

But overall, this Budget doesnt really benefit me much ... [smallcry]

Any thoughts and discussion on this? [sweatdrop]

believe them? no way. [sweatdrop]

but its a fact that there will be a 8% drop, which is good for all drivers.

does encourage more people to buy cars and clog up the roads during peak hours.

So that they can increase erp and claim that it will kerb traffic.

I wonder what is the result of the CTE ERP increase ... doesnt seem to have improved [laugh] Lucky i dont stay north side ...

I do wonder what will the roadtax be for those that expires on July or worst, August.

Would they factor that in? Perhaps deduct accordingly? August before 8% Sept to Feb with 8% discount?

anyway their policies just confuses me as well ... [sweatdrop]

maybe his roadtax is due on Sept? thats why Sept then got 8% cut. [laugh]

no more cars, one car increase ERP by $0.50 everyday can earn how much more..the car population should be around 400-450K units, so in terms of per year all come back liao

hmm.... a decrease in road tax...

i wonder how is this in line with decreasing the income gap and helping the poor in sg.... seems like its benefiting those who can afford cars and bigger cars......

8% for a 1.6L car is $76.

About one month season parking charges.

REally not a lot, but better than nothing.

They have allocated 20m(?) to LTA for road-related expenses.

I think they will find ways to recoup that 20m.
