Did anybody get an SMS about SPC discounts?

I received an sms from an unknown person saying SPC charge GST for their petrol whereas all others don't. This makes their discount seem more then it really is.

 

Is this true & has anybody else got this sms?

 

I tried to check who is the sender but she only gave her name as Jasmine from Lenso leasing.

What i'm curious is if it is true???

 

The sms says that SPC charges 5% GST on the petrol price whereas other companies don't.

 

Can anybody who pumps petrol in SG confirm how u r billed on your petrol purchased. Do u pay the 5% GST or not?

Esso included GST in the fuel price..

shell and caltex charge gst...

receipt got put...

spc and esso dun know...never pump

but sillypore where got things dun have GST one?? maybe hospital fee dun have...

Last time I pump SPC, when look at the receipt, it looks like they are charging GST. But if you look carefully, it just that their receipt breakdown the GST amount. The final amount still equal to pump price x litre.

most of the price include gst already...

never really care...still need to pay for petrol whether got gst or not..

So it seems like the person who sent the sms was mis-informed cos all petrol companies will state the GST amount but it has already been included in the price displayed at the pumps.

 

So nobody else here received this sms then?
