Beanoyip Turbocharged March 1, 2007 Share March 1, 2007 I'm afraid parking there is a problem in the morning.. Although quite near my place, i don't have the car on Sat mornings nowadays, until dad decides to get a SUV soon enough.

Beanoyip Turbocharged March 5, 2007 Share March 5, 2007 The BIG question i want to ask is, how much savings in terms of $$ compared to buying from PI and authorized dealer?
Try_conti 2nd Gear March 5, 2007 Share March 5, 2007 in this case, its NOT the savings lah.... its the specs .....
Koolaba 1st Gear March 5, 2007 Author Share March 5, 2007 Kevinlapon will have the best answer to your question. As mentioned by Try_Conti, the amount of savings is relative to the specification level of the car. You have the flexibility of specifying the equipment you would like to have in the car. To have an idea how much savings one stands to gain, you can attempt to find out the cost price of our locally specified Golf GTI versus the retail price. 1. Go to: http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publish/vwcms/master_public/virtualmaster/de3.html ://http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publ...aster/de3.html ://http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publ...aster/de3.html ://http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publ...aster/de3.html ://http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publ...aster/de3.html ://http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publ...aster/de3.html ://http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publ...aster/de3.html 2. Click on: Neuwagen-Konfigurator (New Vehicle Configurator) The cost (equivalent to OMV) of the car is the retail price in EUR after deducting the Value Added Tax (Mehr Wert Steuer MwST) which is currently rated at 19%. From there, you can work out the cost of the car to the local dealer and also the margins.
