hehe, OT too much here. OPC, CNG and anything, whatever, SGP just having too many rule and regulation which a layman very hard to understand, just like the $30K COE only worth $101 [sweatdrop]

precisely, i stand by my view that the system implemented by them is too crappy thumbsdown.gifbecause is too many rules that makes the average people don't understand the system

BTW, en.so's webby touts reducing global warming. That is a BS. CNG is still a fossil fuel. You burn it, you get CO2 and water. The good thing about it is that you just get mainly CO2 and water.

Petrol on the other hand is burnt to give out CO2, water and other sh1t that creates smog and other stuff. Of course if there SO2 as well as NOx.

Diesel on the other hand is burnt to give out CO2, water and other sh1t which includes particulates.

The US CARB standards is particular about particulates (pun intended).

The EU standards is particular about the smog NOx emissons.

However as a fossil fuel, there is more natural gas in this planet than oil for the time being. Storing it is a big problem.

forgive me for being haughty but i feel for us, it is not that we are below their intelligence level to understand their system. i will spend time to research on the particular sections that matters to me when the need arises. But because OPC doesn't affect me now, i don't bother.

what i am trying to drive at is that a country wide system should be implemented with in mind the average intelligence of the people. Besides this, even if it can be proven the average intelligence of the people is very high, we still should not implement a very complicated system because not every one have the time to go and do research on the various different schemes as well. the rationale is that the schemes should cater to the needs of the people who use it, not the needs of the people who implement it.

SO2 = sulfur dioxide = acid rain = we will become like Venus.

NOx = smog making gas. Smog cuts out sunlight = colder winters = crop failures = famine = starvation and the end of all life as we know it.

Just a thought,

Maybe should consider changing to a smaller car instead of converting to CNG if trying to save fuel. [flowerface]

I understand what you said, me also believe I can understand if I want but take quite sometime.

Just like 40% rebate as quote, it is wrong to say 40% bc we only get 20% back.

Well, that depends.

If you were driving 2L and above guzzlers, changing to a 1.0-1.3L sipper would be a big difference.

As far as I know, it all depends on the technology. The Wish with it's 1.8L engine sips at 14-15km/L while my my crappy GM 1.4L gives 13km/L.

Well, you do get a lot more car in a Wish compared to my Aveo but the Wish was more dear at that time.

Lots of things to consider. The smallest car not necessary equates to having your tranportation needs met.
