Suitable speaker rating for my amp

I wouldn't worry about the power for the speakers.

Your amp isn't a powerful one but it should do ok with most speakers, not ideal but ok.

It's your sub that is worrying...even by bridging the amo, i doubt it's enough for a sub.

My suggestion is to get another amp for the sub and use this amp for the speakers either bridged or normal..

Speaker wise, i'm using the DB Plat 6.2, good speakers...not comment on the Helix, havn't heard them b4

thanks!

if i add a 2-ch to drive my sub, will the sound be better at the same normal listening volume? (not the blasting kind)

What sub you using? It'll all depend on the sub RMS power required...

Small subs 2ch amp can...more powerful ones you'll need a monoblock.

A brand new PT6.2 is about $250-290 only..

(edited)

i'm using a cadence 10" single coil sub.. rated 300w.. peak 700w.

for the DB Drive, how's the sound like?

i'm contemplating to buy a 2mth old at $180; is the price worth it?
