Cleaning Headlamp covers

My headlamp covers are getting 'dull' with some swirls. How can we clean these plastic headlamp covers to make it clear again?

On the inside how to clean? Change one.

A cotton cloth and some Brasso metal polish should work on the headlamp covers. Use the cotton cloth to apply the brasso liquid onto the headlamp external surface and rub with a circular motion and moderate pressure. Let dry and buff off with a clean cotton cloth. Repeat if necessary.

 

For the lamp reflectors, DO NOT use the above method.

thanks guys. i will try some of the products and methods recommended.

i just want to polish the covers only, to make it look clearer. not the lamp reflectors or the internal parts :)

Autobacc sells it. However I'm wondering which should i get the plasticX or the clear plastic polish.

Try what I suggested using Brasso liquid metal polish. Cheap and it works. If you are not sure, try it on a small portion of the plastic headlamp cover and you will be surprised. I have personally used it to polish the headlamp covers as well as tail light covers. Came out looking like new.
