New C/D segment models

The Spanish car maker SEAT, S.A. will manufacture two new C/D-segment models at its plant in Martorell. This was announced today by SEAT chairman Erich Schmitt, during a meeting with several media representatives at the SEAT headquarters. In the future, SEAT will have two versions: a saloon and an estate car.

The decision to produce these models in Martorell, whose market launch is planned for 2009, contributes to considerably improve the capacity utilization of the Spanish plant. This announcement is the first made by SEAT since the dissolution of the brand groups and supports the progress of the Improvement Plan that was set in motion at the beginning of 2007 and whose most important objectives have been met by now.

hi bro

Seems like the sketch is reminding me vaguely of the IS250. Maybe my aging near-blind eyes. not sure.

PS - So you sure you will keep your Superb for 10 full years? :-)

Neutral Newbie

Am I the only one who, after looking at the front 3-quarter, is thinking "Audi a5 coupe..." [:p]

[laugh]

Then again, after the Mk3 Toledo "sedan" debacle, anything (maybe even a Rodius) would look good so.... [lipsrsealed]
