I mean as a private owner, how safe is it?

Furthermore, insurance thingy also another issue should something happens if i'm not wrong

I just happen to read my insurance CI saying that it does not cover if I rent out my car for monetary returns...

 

Lucky I have no intention to rent out now. But there was once I was planning to let my bro drive when I was attached overseas for half a year and he help me to pay a bit of the instalment... Is that counted as renting?

however, if for long period of time, maybe its advisable to update the insurance company to register your bro as one of the drivers.

my take: if you have to rent out your car, it probably means you are under-utilising it or cannot make the monthly payment.

 

might as well dun buy in the first place.

 

you're just getting into deeper sh*t if you rent out as it's not covered by insurance. so in the event of total loss or accident, you bang balls.
