Yah, no spare tyre, else how to keep it so compact? This SUV is for those that don't need 7 seat all the time, else they should have look elsewhere.

All info are just clicks away... nothing special.

I find the Crossroad quite unqiue, but decided to wait a while longer, to see the market response, and as well as waiting for better spec model (should come by end of the year). The knowledge of SE counts too... [:p]

Play with the 2nd row position, and you shall get reasonably good leg space in the 3rd row. Overall, from my viewing, and comparing of spec on Honda website, passenger space are the same in both Stream & Crossroad, the only difference is with boot space. [;)]

Had you try to sit inside? I no need to adjust anything and quite comfortable in the Stream 3rd row but not as comfortable when sit at Crossroad 3rd row [flowerface]

Neutral Newbie

For PI verions, do you know:

1. how many airbags are there?

2. 4 disc brakes OR 2 discs + 2 drums? Eg. Stream by Kah Motor (4 discs) but PI (2 discs only).

Thanks!

Not hard core lah, just that I am interested in anything to do with car... [;)]

Furthermore, this is the 1st 7 seater compact SUV in the market (other have engines starting with 2.4), naturally catch many attention mah. [gossip]

Yes, I have sat in one before. Somehow, most PIs I visit would have already put the 2nd row (of Stream) to optimal position, for showing the customer how "spacious" is the 3rd row, whereas for Crossroad, there are marketing it as a SUV with option for 2 extra seat, thus little attention is paid on the space at last row so, I need to adjust myself.

Try it for yourself, the headroom (and shoulder space) at the last row of Crossroad is confirm better than Stream. [flowerface]

2 airbags standard for most JDM Honda, including this Crossroad.

As for brake, Front disk rear drum for all 1.8 model, rear disk only for 2.0 4WD model. BTW, ABS are 4 channel type (i.e. on all 4 wheel) for all model / grade.

This Crossroad is intially meant to be a replacement model for HRV. But Honda decided against the idea for 2 main reasons:

1) The HRV is not so well recieved in some places, due to lack of cross country ability

2) Honda wanted to create a new market segment for this SUV, and as we can see, it has become the one and only compact SUV with 7 seat in it class, so... ... [sunny]

Not only this car... In fact I also now that Nissan and Toyota are now working on compact 7 seater SUV, Nissan coming out with 7 seater Qashqai / Dualis (engine starting from 1.6L), while Toyota should be pushing out a 7 seater SUV basing on the previous RAV4 platform by end of the year in Japan. [thumbsup]
