S$ 72,000 - S$ 28,223.00 = S$ 43,777.00.

Car left 7 years 10 months aka 94 months [:)]

S$ 43,777.00/94 Months = S$ 465.72 [nod][nod][nod]

S$ 465.72 x 12 months = S$ 5,588.64 Per Year [;)]

The above have not include the interest [;)]

Selling Price $72,000

COE : $18,200

Parf : $28,223

Car register in Jun'05

Thank you [:)][:)]

Bro, if like what the other Bros had said that the Parf written by you should be OMV then the calculation would be as follows:-

The Parf should be S$ 28,223.00 x 55% = S$ 15,522.00 [nod][nod][nod]

S$ 72,000 - S$ 15,522.00 = S$ 56,478.00 [:)]

Car left 7 years 10 months aka 94 months [nod][nod][nod]

S$ 56,478.00/94 Months = S$ 600.83 [:)]

S$ 600.83 x 12 months = S$ 7,209.96 Per Year [nod][nod][nod]

The above have not include the interest [;)]

Wrong man...

Parf is Parf. OMV is OMV.

For 2005 registered car. Parf is 82.5% of OMV.

If Parf is $28223, OMV is over $34k.

With a $34k OMV, it is easily a Estima.

The threadstarter should give more information before deriving figures of depreciation.

parf $28223?

that means omv is $51,315. what car is that?

or r u saying omv is $28223?

Bro, if OMV is $51k, it's a E class or 5-series. At $72k, it's a steal.

Even if the car totaled, the car is not that cheap.
