One of my friend is about to book the Copen.

But I told her the car price will drop further.

But she is very impatient and ready to book it next week, before the next bidding.

some were saying pple who booked after the coe dropped has missed out on the real deal. but which AD would actually refund u the $$$ from the coe difference when it drops?

Those who got the last COE definitely "tan dio". There is a COE rebate level for every bid, so I supposed most of them should get around 4k rebate...

Next COE, definitely no rebate.

coe will go up in the next round. better to book soon. we cannot expect it to crash every now and then. opportunity does not knock twice.

[sweatdrop] I heard over the radio on that day saying it was a technical glitch ie. server down.

Your heading like that give ppl false hope leh. [laugh]

This coming one they'll be disappointed and angry with u. [laugh]

If COE will go up the next round...then would it be 'better' to seal the deal this weekend? With the lower selling price, and a rising COE predicting....then it would seems to be a win win situation to book immediately before BM/KM/TC proudly claim they will be increasing the car price upwards? (like what happened in Feb07)

As usual, your pool will not generate accurate reasults as most people here already own a car, unless the car is really due for replacement or backside itchy, people will choose not to change.

If you ask in this forum, ERP increase or COE drop which one they more keen, they will be more concern about ERP then COE [laugh] .

After all, the price drop is not so great to me. [:p]

The reduction in price is not consistent with the actually drop in COE price.

Cat A COE price dropped $9K, but most Cat A car prices dropped only between S$1K & S$4K.

Hence, latest car prices are not as low as it should be - not a good time to commit.
