Improve Reception

How can I improve my radio reception?

 

Really horrible... can hear all the statics and noise.

 

Any advise?

Check the condition of your spark plug cables & the distributor cover. If they r worn, it wil cause static to your radio reception.

 

I did get better reception after I DIY grounding my car. Also check the connection of your antenna.

 

If all the above cannot solve your problem, change your radio.

get an ice guy go over the connection. not sure if the antenna is problem or HU is problem.

Oh... i'm not into ICE de... as long can hear can le..

Using Pioneer... P3XXX.. cant really remember the model... can play mp3 one

If this problem only happen now, try tracing the antenna connection.

 

Otherwise, get a brosch in-car antenna and run on your windscreen. but if you have solar film, then maybe not as good. Best is still external antenna.

where is the antenna located if can find any signs of it ? i am sure there is but cant seem to find it.

if it is internal antenna, usually is just above the reverse mirror at top, sometime if u hv solar film, it cud b placed onto the A pillar.
