Audi R8 or Maserati GranTurismo?

for me its gotta be the Maserati GT. the styling of it is simply

 

 

like wad others have said, at that price i would consider the porsche 997 as well.

Looks like it's a close fight so far between the GT and R8. I'm, however, beginning to buy into the argument that the R8 has better technical quality than the GT

which is what I did! Though I wish it was the 60K u quoted..it was actually more than that!perhaps it was e RSZ model..N 1K extra for satin white!

btw, I think this is an unfair comparison anyway,the R8 shud be compared against the Gallardo( R8 cousin ) or Noble stables ,also perhaps the Murc. since all are either mid/rear engined n 2 seater.

997 not bad too although IMHO the R8 and GT look better physically

 

porker 911's are for ppl who wants the understated elegance and know they have made it in life but without the insecurities and need to show off

i feel the r8 appeals more to youngsters. hip and cool car. m gt is for mature man that want prestige.

Audi is sporty and hi tech.

R8 dude...I always tout the R8 looked weird and was too easy to drive but the Maser's the same man...I think it looks good at certain angles only...same as the audi.

The R8 should be pitting up against the Maser GTS. Similar price range. Maser GTs for me. 4 seater sports coupe

maser lost its rich racing heritage along the way. now it is just a cut-priced front engined ferrari. reviews say it is awkward, bland, slow and handles badly. i'm not rich or lucky enough to have driven it so have to believe what the journalists say.

The R8 doesn't even come close to the Gallardo, particularly the V8 version - the V10 is better but still not close to a Lambo.
