Shox87 4th Gear December 7, 2007 Share December 7, 2007 for me its gotta be the Maserati GT. the styling of it is simply like wad others have said, at that price i would consider the porsche 997 as well. ↡ Advertisement

Milgram Neutral Newbie December 10, 2007 Author Share December 10, 2007 Looks like it's a close fight so far between the GT and R8. I'm, however, beginning to buy into the argument that the R8 has better technical quality than the GT
Zanter 3rd Gear December 10, 2007 Share December 10, 2007 If u can afford a 500k car, whats 60k for an Stream for the days u need the space?
Conned Clutched December 10, 2007 Share December 10, 2007 (edited) which is what I did! Though I wish it was the 60K u quoted..it was actually more than that!perhaps it was e RSZ model..N 1K extra for satin white! btw, I think this is an unfair comparison anyway, the R8 shud be compared against the Gallardo( R8 cousin ) or Noble stables ,also perhaps the Murc. since all are either mid/rear engined n 2 seater. just my Christmassy 2cents. Merry Christmas!! Edited December 10, 2007 by Conned
Thugstercena Clutched October 3, 2009 Share October 3, 2009 r8 is copied from lamborghini. deduct marks!
Sevnrg Neutral Newbie October 3, 2009 Share October 3, 2009 (edited) GT... But I will not go for either if I'm going to spend that much. I will get a 997 997 not bad too although IMHO the R8 and GT look better physically porker 911's are for ppl who wants the understated elegance and know they have made it in life but without the insecurities and need to show off Edited October 3, 2009 by Sevnrg
Pigkachu Neutral Newbie October 3, 2009 Share October 3, 2009 i feel the r8 appeals more to youngsters. hip and cool car. m gt is for mature man that want prestige. r8 for me.

Throttle2 Supersonic October 3, 2009 Share October 3, 2009 Maser is the one with more luxury and class. Audi is sporty and hi tech. my choice is the Maser.... secondhand GT really value for money.....
ElDiablo Clutched October 4, 2009 Share October 4, 2009 R8 dude...I always tout the R8 looked weird and was too easy to drive but the Maser's the same man...I think it looks good at certain angles only...same as the audi.
Icyfreakass 1st Gear October 4, 2009 Share October 4, 2009 The R8 should be pitting up against the Maser GTS. Similar price range. Maser GTs for me. 4 seater sports coupe
Joshdway Neutral Newbie October 10, 2009 Share October 10, 2009 the maserati has better heritage but the r8 has the gallardo engine? tough call but i m more inclined to the italian, and its slightly cheaper too
L_club23 4th Gear October 23, 2009 Share October 23, 2009 Maser for me... R8 is just a wannabe in my opinion...
Viceroymenthol 6th Gear October 23, 2009 Share October 23, 2009 the maserati has better heritage but the r8 has the gallardo engine? tough call but i m more inclined to the italian, and its slightly cheaper too maser lost its rich racing heritage along the way. now it is just a cut-priced front engined ferrari. reviews say it is awkward, bland, slow and handles badly. i'm not rich or lucky enough to have driven it so have to believe what the journalists say.
