@Enye  Maybe not economical to do repair . Will check what other repair shop for adv. I suspect the direction sensor is faulty.

Suspect your battery has been drained. Before securing the cover, compress it with a sponge or a thick piece of paper.

@Rayleigh Yes this maybe another possibility, will do a 12 hours charge to see the outcome

Which series is your Irobot? Older series has a direct DC input which you can charge directly without cradle. Also, you can try using back your old battery. If it is able to function but shorter duration, then your new battery either not charging properly or faulty.

After a long period of idling and allowing the battery to completely discharge, yesterday the iRobot with fully charged up battery goes into cleaning action. Delay action = Great saving in repair costs.
