actually for personal tax where tax losses cannot be carried forward, earning so high in 1 year but low in other year means much more taxes to be paid.

commission-based people better not anyhow declare income. cos too easy to check. just check with company see how much commission given out.

that is just a one off affair cos they en blocked farrer court hduc apts for 1.38 bln. they only have 14 staff to give bonus.

 

imagine 3 percent of 1.38 bln (excluding other en blocs of the year), that in itself is already 39 million. the boss can easily afford to give 500k to each of his staff and still have a balance of over 30 million.

 

doubt this will repeat itself as singapore don t have so many en bloc sites of that scale.

 

so you have to look at things in context.
