DIY: How to Remove tinted/privacy film Equipment

Hi, anyone has any clue where to get the scraper blades those used by tinted company?

 

My house window privacy film had heated up after years and the film is out of shape. Plus cny is coming, intend to DIY remove it myself. I saw how those tinted professional remove my car film so question is where to get the items?

 

I need scraper and glue remover (ammonia solution).

 

please advice. =)

just normal cutter blade try to prise the corner of the film, becos of the fiber it will not tear off easily. glue remover = mama lemon and cutter blade to scrap off.

 

to apply with the plastic piece can get fr arts friend.

 

dun ask me abt moooosetafar got or not hor.

But seriously mama lemon really able to remove? Cos i can see how sticky the film was after it been shifted upwards abit and expose the glue.

 

Btw, what do u mean by plastic piece? Dun quite get it.

u wanna install film right... so must get a plastic comb like applicator to push the film in position.

 

but removing is easy part. just tear corner and pull out.

The sticky part of the glue can be removed by rubbing lighter fluid.. just peel the film off and rub lighter fluid onto the sticky portions to remove the glue...

 

try not to scrape too hard.. cos the glass may have fine scratches.. best is remove by peeling...
