Hi, I dunno how come my new car headlamp plastic cover have water stain that could not be removed. Can I use Autosol to remove it or is there any other alternative polish it in order to remove the water stain? Please advise. Thanks!

If you don't want to spend too much money , try using car polish or toothpaste first. Do not use autosol as that is a metal polish.

Yes I actually used toothpaste before on my old car plastic lens. Its a mild abrasive and polish. I read it on a overseas car forum previously and tried it out.

Another thing I learnt recently was I can use vinegar to remove concrete stains. Happened to my fathers car because he was driving behind a cement mixer and all the droplets splashed onto his car bonnet, windscreen etc. Nothing worked, thinner, petrol , polish etc until I remembered cement is lime based so I used vinegar and viola!

No problems, just thought some people might like to know in case it should unfortunately happen to someone else.
