Friendstar Supercharged March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 Hey bros, Allion's kerb weight is at 1475kg according to sgcarmart, this is significantly higher than axio's 1100kg. both using the same 1.5litre engine. does that mean that Allion's FC will be bad? ↡ Advertisement

Simply_lex Neutral Newbie March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 (edited) during his run-in last month. To add: once we parked side by side, realised the length is slightly longer than stream. Allion's boot compartment is really more than spacious Edited March 7, 2008 by Simply_lex
Karu 6th Gear March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 That's the question 'Been asking... Is the sgcarmart info accurate? Cannot imagine a 110BHP engine pulling 1.4 ton??
Rickster 5th Gear March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 I think you should question sgcarmart's information. They have many erroneous specs for new cars. Some of them is ridiculously off the mark
Rickster 5th Gear March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 (edited) Ya agree...sgcarmart's admin need to do something to their new car specs info. Prices off the mark nevermind, but even things that don't change such as the BHP, torque figures, kerb weight and top speed also always get it wrong. Carlover76 Neutral Newbie March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 (edited) Allion's kerb weight is really 1475KG, refer below for the exact specs of Toyota Allion : http://toyota.jp/allion/spec/spec/index.html Actually there is 2 kind of weights, one is vehicle weight and the other is gross weight as Allion gross weight is 1475 but the vehicle weight is 1220 or 1270. Axio vehicle weight is ranging from 1100KG to 1190KG while gross weight is ranging from 1375 to 1465KG. Refer below for exact specs and do click on the 8th menu for the weight. http://toyota.jp/corollaaxio/spec/spec/index.html Edited March 7, 2008 by Carlover76
Rickster 5th Gear March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 It states 1220 and 1270 for the 2 different version. Which part u see says 1475kg?
Carlover76 Neutral Newbie March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 (edited) There is vehicle weight and overall weight, the overall weight states it is 1495KG so it is not 1475KG. See wrongly, sorry so I guess they estimate the figures. Edited March 7, 2008 by Carlover76
