S.M.A.R.T test failed? How come?

Can try HDTUNE (http://www.hdtune.com).

 

Run the programme and check if there are any errors in the "Health Status" tab.

My harddisk is Seagate .... so I just want to do the test which we do before we do a RMA.

hmm, meaning ur hdd S.M.A.R.T has some issue... it's time to RMA tat hdd...

haha just RMA lah no need test. since smart test fail soon or later onli the drive fail.

just backup your data and format it, unless u wanna become edison 2. haha

I tried contacting the support in Singapore for Seagate at 0947hrs, but when I called ... the phone just keeps ringing ..... nobody answers and no voicemail.

S.M.A.R.T fails u can either stick to but w/o tis function only, but it's ur call depends on whether u wan to RMA or not...
