Honda Stream

To give some idea of the pricing, i got mine at 73K, COE 15.5K from KM which is essentially an x model + rear disc brake.

Thus Car Price is 57.5K.

If COE chiong to 21K this wed, it's only 78.5K which is similar to KM price now.

to have a pricing like 82K, that PI is expecting COE to go up beyond 24K. for 82K, 1 can get an RSZ some place else.

It may also mean that they aren't bidding for u this time round and buffer a lot more for the next few months.

So the promise of after get COE 1 week delivery may just be smoking

Another comment the SE made was KM buy in bulk so car will be cheaper than PI. what nonsense is this?

The worst comment is that they say KM Stream is from Thailand.

I left the smoke filled sales booth in a hurry before i have chance to ask about their OMV.

BTW, Stream FC is only good if you do a lot of highway with smooth traffic. If you do a lot of city driving or are stuck in traffic, FC not that good.

comment based on my running in FC

85% HW, 15% City - 16km/l

40% HW, 60% City - 10km/l (Both HW and City are start/stop jam)

In term of MPV, honda stream is still a good model to look at, if you want something like SUV n MPV, can consider Honda Crossroad. The exterior n interior of it, it's good. very new in the market. Especially the 2.0l

PI stream have rear disc brake. RSZ model.

the other significant different is the factory fitted immobiliser and alarm for KM.

many PI say got immobiliser but most don't have when reach SG

However, PI tends to throw in more freebies.

anyway KM OMV for my case was 20.8K

Anyone know the fuel tank capacity? I was told it is 55 litres but yesterday the pump attendant pumped all the way to 63 litres!

It's normal, my stream also same.

The spare tyre is located under the boot. Look under your rear under carriage can see liao.

Release is from the boot, the wheel will fall to the ground.

English version, you can buy from KM about $70. If not, beg from those who got from KM.

Poor thing, you actually need to pay $70 for KM to supply english manual. My PI gave the english version to me Free of charge even when I never asked or expected her to give. wink.gif

KM agents are also full of crap. KM offered to buy my OPC Vios (for trade in) for only $19k when my PI offer me $21k. Even if KM Stream is cheaper, they already factor this $2k profit in the car trade in price. KM Stream also dun have arm rest. Ask them to install for a price and they said no I have to do it myself outside. What good service they have. dead.gif

I have been driving Stream RSZ bought from my PI for months and she still remembered to send me birthday wish via SMS. The routine service from PI workshop is also better than KM workshop. smile.gif

For your info, this is the comparison of Stream models done by someone else late last year.

Just to clarify, I bought my stream from KM. The manual is free and comes with the car.

KM also initially give a lower trade in value than the PI. I am not defending KM but after deciding between RSZ and KM stream,

I call up a few SEs in KM.

I simply tell them, "I am going to buy a stream. Give me your best offer."

Ultimately, I have a good deal. wink.gif

There are many reasons why people buy from KM or PI and it is not just based on specs alone.

Your PI is Hu* L**g?

As for arm rest, I find the OEM armrest useless as it has no compartment.

bought an aftermarket console armrest that suit me better

For KM services, it depends on individual,

She said Stream have autolock for doors, no telescopic steering wheel. laugh.gif what a joke.

For the SA, One cannot tell if the Spoiler have to drill hole, while another SA referred to me by someone else is very good and eager to please.

do not own a ride with rear brake disc before. thus, have no idea

if rear disc really have significant impact than drum.

In fact a drum brake is more than sufficient even for a 7 seater MPV.

However, the brake reaction kinda laggy. and if u press more, if feels jerky

for the passenger. unsure.gif

driving in SG, it's neccessary to have a rear disc at the back for emergency,

the wat i see it. lipsrsealed.gif

what's your view?

your manual is jap or english? All manuals are comes together of course,

but all are jap vers.

aftermarket armrest mostly requires drills on the center compartment, isn't it?

OEM are attached to the side of driver's seat. definitely the OEM will not "eat up"

the space on the center compartment.

all in all, all dealers provide almost similar package, it differs mainly on accessories/parts swopping.

it's the buyers priority needs for the importance for each accessories/parts that

comes with the ride.

and of cos RSZ is in diff. cat. which ONLY PI has.

manual is english of course. no one will buy from KM if is japanese. laugh.gif

The armrest i got is no need to drill. I secure it with 3M velcro

Some other are fixing the CRV armrest. But it cost an arm & leg at $350
