Difference between Odyssey 2.4 VS Odyssey 2.4 EXV (Older model)

Hi all,

 

Anyone able to highlight the difference between Odyssey 2.4 base model VS Odyssey 2.4 EXV. It's for the older model of the Odyssey in which KM site no longer has it.

 

So far the only difference i can spot is the sunroof.

Followings are what EXV has which the base model EX does not have:

 

1. HID lamp

2. Factory fitted alloy rim

3. 3rd row auto folding of seats

4. Cruise control

5. Sunroof

The HU on the dash does not stick out like a sore thumb. The rear deflectors and Ody logo on the rear.

 

Go to any carpark and see for yourself what difference lor.

from what I know, new Ody come with black interior while the old Ody likely is beige in colour.

Hi all, newbie here.

 

I am a bit confused with Odyssey EXV an Odyssey Absolute. How do I differentiate them?

 

I saw some 2007 Absolute posted in sgcarmart with 200bhp, some with 160bhp. Are there 2 version or the dealer posted wrongly?

 

Absolute or EXV more worth it?

 

I am looking for a secondhand Odyssey now. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Am considering to buy a 2nd hand Odyssey, year 2005. I wonder is the odyssey using timing belt or timing chain?

When hit 80k~100k km mileage, need to change timing belt? Been told by few dealers is using timing chain and no need to worry when hit 100k. Do not trust them at all.

Better ask an actual owner.
