lai lai lai... we are 1/3 into the month of May. Oil price has risen to new heights....

so will the greedy petrol cartel raise fuel price in May?

Anyway,

I have not seen any singapore petrol bill reflect in my credit card bill for 3 months.

Use to be SGD 500 every month.

But now only SGD 200 (RM 460)every month with Jaybee V-power...

Total saving SGD 900 for 3months [laugh] .

Going for a short trip for relaxing by the beach in langkawi with this SGD 900.

How much Singapore petrol going to raise the price...No effect to me anymore..

JB going to up pump prices for foreign registered cars. [rifle]

Just a thought, how much will petrol need to cost for you to dramatically change your driving habits or give up your car completely? $3 per litre? [:p]

And if that happens, what will happen to the 2nd hand car market? Flooded with cars driving prices down? [crazy]

Hmm...has anyone kept track of the crude oil prices to the fuel price increases? Wonder how much it will cost when crude oil hits $140 per barrel...then $160....finally $200.... [lipsrsealed][sweatdrop]

for me... $2.75/litre i'll switch to CNG immediately

regardless of the cons of CNG

$3/litre i'll switch to OPC

My life is full of Joy...

With the saving I can go holiday... [thumbsup]

There is nothing wrong about thrifting...

Our government do not help us...So we have to find a way out ourself...

Pump SGD 1000 petrol then can the cheapo SGD 30 petrol rebate....

I will still carry on pumping JB petrol till the non subsidaise price in JB exercise.

The SGD 20 toll already talk so long also no action...

I believe there are more guys out there turing to JB petrol....

Go in by woodland check point...

There is a shell station near the JB check point and opposite JB police station (Head Quarter).

Think it should be the safer place to pump petrol.

Best time to go in is between 11am to 3pm in the day adn 11.30pm onward during the night to avoid jam.

hmmm let see.

Pump Prices Increase by 3 & 5 Cents Throughout All 4 Brands on 24 April 08

Petrol & Diesel Prices Increase by 4 & 5 Cents Respectively Throughout All 4 Brands - 17 March 08

Pump Prices Increase by 4 Cents Throughout All 4 Brands - 4 March 08

Pump Prices Increase by 5 Cents Throughout All 4 Brands - 28 Nov 07

Pump Prices Increase by 7 Cents Throughout All 4 Brands - 5 Nov 07

Pump Prices Increase by 5 Cents Throughout All 4 Brands - 24 Oct 07

Pump Prices Increase By 3 & 5 Cents Throughout All 4 Brands - 1 Oct 07

Oil price first time above :

$80, 18 sept 07

$90, 25 oct 07

$100 26 feb 08

$110 9 apr 08

$120 6 may 08

taking the above example.

from date of 24 Oct 07

oil price is about $90 to now $110.

the greedy petrol cartel raise the pump price by 5+7+5+4+4+3 = 28 cents.

give and take some. so an increase of about $20-$30 dollars will give rise to an increase of 30 cents of the pump price. of course nothing to stop the greedy cartel to up 10 cents instead of the normal 4/5/7 cents.

with 95 now at about $2.12. so expect a pump price of $2.50 when crude oil hit $150.

and pump price of > $3 when crude oil hit $200.
