RON 92 all the way for my current car and previous car - since 2001 never pump more than 92

[nod] Been pumping 92 for the Sunny all along. No problem.

 

Only brand with no grade 92 is Caltex.

i follow the recommended grade from the car manual...

 

go people here pump lower than recommended and no problems

well, every car comes with a minimum requirements.

 

i open my petrol cover, keke, it has a label labelled 95 octane

 

so i always stick to 95 lor

I am also pumping the min of my car spec 95 . What car are you driving ?

As my previous cars are all 92 acceptance till today (buy without checking the min spec).

Seems like most pump 95. But I read across a few threads got many bros here also pump 97 in jb as an alternative.

No need for RON 95. From what I know, Wish can run on RON 89 and above. So, 92 is more than good enough.

 

When I used to drive 70% HW, I got about 13.5 km/l on my wish. Now is only 40% HW but still can get 11.8 km/l regularly.

Hmmm, wat about all the JDM spec cars with min RON100? How low can it go so that won't knock? This is what I ever ponder about.
