Charleslim Neutral Newbie August 27, 2008 Share August 27, 2008 Do not touch the glass on the bulb; skin oil will create a hot spot that greatly reduces the life of the bulb (so it is said).

Dude, its not the bulb or fuse, its more serious. Get a "wire-man" to trace the source of the "short". Its a short somewhere.

Santav Neutral Newbie August 28, 2008 Share August 28, 2008 i had similar problems wif brakes light bulbs during the 1st year of my ride. the left, right & center brake light bulbs take turns to blow every month. AD checked electricals & said nothing wrong.....finally decided to buy own bulbs from outside auto shop at $1 each (cheaper then AD)...and problem gone.....it's been 3yrs since, no bulb blown....
