Nazaki Clutched September 16, 2008 Share September 16, 2008 Hi guys, as of topic. I can't find any sites that are "updated" regarding rims that are avaliable. Is going down to the shop the only way of knowing it? ↡ Advertisement

Baxter Neutral Newbie September 17, 2008 Share September 17, 2008 overseas sites for price reference only, like tirerack.
Nauticar Neutral Newbie September 17, 2008 Share September 17, 2008 (edited) As far as my research goes - local tyre websites do NOT have pricing on wheels and tyres. The way that it is done here is to call up and ask, or like you said, go to the shop and ask. Someone has mentioned - overseas prices are for reference - that's right. In addition to that, some vendors cannot ship to countries other than their own (dealer's agreement with supplier), and shipping will definitely be prohibitive (even if you ship via sea). And if you DO get the rims you want, you have to get a local fitter to fix your tyres to your rims (which means more money). Baxter Neutral Newbie September 17, 2008 Share September 17, 2008 Go autobac and stamford , browse thru their range. You may get some info there.
Linuskmj Neutral Newbie September 26, 2008 Share September 26, 2008 Tyrepac.com http://www.tyrepac.com will soon be the portal you are looking for. Price listing of all tyres and rims would be available, and you would be able to compare prices, and best of all, purchase them online! Tyrepac is Asia
Roberttan 5th Gear September 26, 2008 Share September 26, 2008 you are able to source many info oversea but it does carry some risk and trouble to buy from oversea as follow: -unless you are very sure what you want that fits your car -compatible specification because some car parts vary from region to region (so this you may need local mech to tranform some spec which most mech wont like to do) - rubber products(hoses/tyre especially) may not suitable to use here because of differ climate, road condition, even Left/ Right hand drive make the differ too. try avoid promo tyre from oversea(seasoning offer especially winter is ending) -spare parts colour may not the same unless you have the right colour code,if is for the wheels beware combination of colours arrival in 1 set of wheel. -shipping,some wheel arrived in out of shape,so you will be like a ball ask to refer to shipper, land forwarder, your tyre fitter or seller so when all the above happened and you money is already paid. So no risk no return(your saving)
