anyone can recommend any double din dvd player ? or got any lobang

 

1. New or 2nd hand

1. Any brands, china or taiwan brand is ok for me

2. With USB support so can plug in to my mp3 player

3. can play wma,mp3,etc common format

4. Have built in TV tuner and antenna - Can watch Ch 5 & 8

definitely pioneer. tried a few brands but still returned to that. china-brands are definitely out. you might think you are saving but they actually do blow up and you have to get another headunit in a few years.

i installed a Pioneer DVH2350 ($470) and is happy with it. The digital tuner is separate (from PI when I first got the car). Personally, given the poor reception for the digital signals, you can give digital tv a miss.

This is only set you can Watch Ch 5 & Ch 8 on the move in Singapore by their quad-booster, but the price is much higher your budget but with amazing much more functions you never expect.

 

I am currently using it happily, that's why I recommend to you. It is made in China, but with higher quality, If you are interested, I can PM the seller to you to avoid ads. here.

Yes, I also need advice on a double din car stereo (95mm x 170 mm) to buy.

 

I bought my Allion in 2009 and they issued me this China double din car stereo (no brand). Now, the LCD is flickering and it can't play any music.

But the display for the reverse camera works => car stereo functionality is spoilt.

 

The agent asked me to go back to their car stereo workshop to check. I already can figure that they will tell me no more warranty,

and no repair workshop, or they will offer me another China make at a "discount"? Let me go back there next Saturday to find out.

 

Meanwhile, I am already considering if I should get a good one. It must

- display my reverse camera output

- have a USB plug on the front panel (for my USB thumb drive holding music)

- have an SD card slot on the front panel

- good to have a video input jack on the front panel (to view video from a vehicle recorder camera unit)

- Must be able to display the song and artiste name in an mp3 file (the china brand I have only shows the file name)

Almost all the HU can do. The one in your car is those low end China set, it come with car, 100+ dollar only.

 

 

If you don't need HD screen(800x480), GPS, 3G Internet, mobile TV and Bluetooth Handsfree call, Buy any pioneer set will satisfy all your request, except the Video-In at front panel.
