Ekardo Clutched October 11, 2008 Share October 11, 2008 saw some repo car selling at quite good price, and realise they are without keys. does it mean that the cars were repo without the owner consent? so if need to change key, need to change the lock too? else previous owner can drive off anytime right? Anyone know how much is it to replace the lock and key for Fit 08 ?? ↡ Advertisement

Oink Neutral Newbie October 11, 2008 Share October 11, 2008 (edited) Dun have to replace the lock...jez do a re-key....try the following website under Services. btw, i not related to them, jez used their services couple of years ago. About S$300, re-map all door key including the boot. After which, the old key can't be use to open any door. You can also change the alarm with them. Hope it helps. http://www.autokey.sg/ Edited October 11, 2008 by Oink

Ekardo Clutched October 12, 2008 Author Share October 12, 2008 fit is with immobiliser right? only can do in Honda?
Listing Neutral Newbie October 12, 2008 Share October 12, 2008 The immobiliser can be removed right? The immobiliser is not really useful. It only helps to deter small thieves. For the more hardcore ones, any car can be driven off. ↡ Advertisement
