Hi guys,

Need to find out which handphone is better overall, the Samsung Omnia or HTC Diamond, as my new company is 'sponsoring' a new handphone for me. [;)]

Do add in your comments if possible too on your choice. [kiss]

Most appreciated! [wave]

cool! thanks! [thumbsup]

The reviews i read so far on the internet seem to favour the Omnia, but i wanna find out more abt real life experiences & user comments on these phones, ie: any gripes, etc?

i'm not sure wat's the OS for innov8 but i guess it's just a company requirement to limit my choice to either one of these phones for watever reason..but i dun really care since it's free! :)

i was deciding between these two phones since last month and after several testing at samsung concept shops decided to go for touch diamond. no regret so far. for omnia i feel that the touch screen is not very sensitive that's my main deciding factor for going for touch diamond

diamond needs a few registry tweaks to make it a liveable phone ... samsung omnia too " girly " for my comfort ... especially the lipstick stylus . i was using the omnia before swapping the dioamond with my wifey .

display = diamond

camera = omnia

standard phone interface = omnia

battery life = omnia

storage capacity = omnia

looks and design = diamond

resale = hmmmm omnia at the present ....

Both are good...each have it's own strength and weakness. Best is to try it before buying. I think you can only try the Omnia at the Samsung Center.

Personally, I prefer the HTC Diamond...but mainly cos I'm more familiar with HTC phone and it screen is better. But I bought the Omnia for my wife which she like.

Neutral Newbie

Had been using the omnia for 3 weeks, Its a great phone.

- Good battery life for me, Heavy user.. just need to charge battery everyday, And not problem to last till day end.

- Free GPS navigation software, Lock on GPS signal quite fast [thumbsup][thumbsup]

- Big screen with huge memory
