Can't think of anything bad.

Trade in my mk3 for an 08 mk4 six months ago and have not spent a cent on repairs or replacement part.

Good styling, spacious, excellent handling, adequate power, and a fun auto/manual gearbox.

edit: mybad, just saw your post above . mk4.

From wat period onwards it's mk4?

ermm now i'm confused. Look at my post above for the url. Is that mk3 or mk4?

Locally from 08 to 11, end 11 to end 12 RM got in the mk5 with 203hp, and after the 240hp mk5.

No 08 mk3 to my knowledge.

I've got an 04 Mondeo-9 years old now - very little maintainence cost (of course don't service at Agent after year 5) Have not seen even a 4 figure touching Invoice

Its a good car - just plain and boring though but faithful

Heard that the later one uses T5 engine used in volvo.... [cool]

That model wasn't available in sg. In oz, it was sold as the XR5. [thumbsup]

Neutral Newbie

My 1st day with a 08 mondeo 2.3, still having problem to access ford forum. Need few pointers for members who are driving the same model.

My petrol tank doesn't comes with a cap, is this correct?

The pump attendant pump 57L and my fuel gage shows slightly above half tank which able to drive for 225km. According to specs I read , full tank Shd be 70l is this correct?

Changing my audio head unit , how will this affect the car meter ? Will the system be smart enough to read the new head unit. The stock unit radio station will appear at the car speedometer LCD screen wonder will it be the same,

Thks

#1, correct

#2, full tank is 70l, you should contact RM for the service record

#3, you will need mondeo compatible HU to retain steering control

Btw, did you chose the red or silver unit?

I got the silver one at turf city, 5 yrs old with full service record.

Mileage at 65k. The orange unit condition was bad, mileage at 179k

Crossing fingers, hope car is well for me to enjoy the smooth ride:)
