Paultantk Neutral Newbie December 27, 2008 Share December 27, 2008 (edited) Hi guys, Toyota and Daihatsu have released a new compact 7-seater much like the Toyota Sienta, however it does not have sliding doors. http://paultan.org/archives/2008/12/26/toy...v-full-details/ What do you think of this compared to the Sienta? Do you think this is a replacement for the Sienta or a different model altogether? The car's head unit has an interesting feature, it can actually rip audio files from your music CD and store it as data files on its on-board flash storage so you dont have to bring your CDs around in you car. Vicz Neutral Newbie December 29, 2008 Share December 29, 2008 Looks like a strong contender to the Honda Freed. Believe it comes with 1500cc engine? should win some fans here with a Daihatsu brand slapped on. a good alternative as compared to the mainstream Toyota here. Alfc 5th Gear December 29, 2008 Share December 29, 2008 Looks wise still very van-like. Leg room looks cramp and the thinly padded seats would probably compromise comfort to pack space for the compact body. Those looking for a bit more room and comfort might still opt for the usual wish or stream at least.

I still think the Senita is better with a higher roof libe for more space, sliding door for easy access to 2nd and 3rd row.
Akula Turbocharged December 30, 2008 Share December 30, 2008 Profile looks pretty similar to the Avanza our neighbours have. Dimensions are very near to the Freed.
