And I thought it's a dying hobby... good things still have some people interested.

Nowadays young people only know computer / psp games; when I was a kid, it was all about building our favourite plane / tank / ship models to show off to our friends. There's nothing quite like building a realistic minature model.

Those are the 1/32 scale tanks, the China made, Heng Long 1/16 tanks are more power, I got two, and when you

have a fight out, really, the smaller versions can't fight the bigger ones in terms of power. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

Yeah, the haydays of Tamiya, Hasegawa, Airfix, Revelle etc... now hard to find kids nowadays doing such hobbies.

TS, if that someone you buying for, is into tanks, get the RC Heng Long 1/16 tanks, Won't regret it.

BYW, got some versions even come with smoke generator. [sly][thumbsup]

i agree

though the Heng Long ones lose out on the "looks", they have much much better performance than the vstanks one

i tried bring down the vstanks for some offroad

really really cannot do offroad

almost gaurantee to throw track

i got 3 vstanks (infra red type)

my kids play like siao

I remember having Airfix glue allover my fingers. Then when it comes to painting, I use toothpicks.

Bro, if you really like tanks, consider investing in a Tamiya. My only advice to buy on Ebay from those Hong Kong sellers since it is much cheaper than the local distributor.

I started with Heng Longs too but the difference between Tamiya and Heng Long is like night and day
