New forum hard to search..

On the old forum, when i typed 'red light camera'. It shows me all the threads related to red light camera and even thread titles. However, now i cant seem to find those threads.

same here, i tot i was the only one. remember to click search where->all forum.

 

the new forum should be using different search engine.

my guess is the current search engine goes for individual word search, resulting in alot of irrelevant result.

 

Previous one search for all words in the query.

I just done some research, i think this should help.

 

Type the following instead (it will search for phrase):

 

+red +light +camera

[Laserjet]

This feedback has been noted, and will try to work out something.

What Mivec9 said is correct.

If you want to search for exact phrase match for "apple juice", you have to type "+apple + juice". If not, the search engine will search by matches for "apple" or "juice".
