Coolpica 4th Gear February 14, 2009 Share February 14, 2009 Company just informed me that I may be posted to Brunei. However, I do not know much about the country. Can some kind souls here pls tell me more about the life in Brunei? I heard that the pace is slower than in Singapore and that is nothing much to do at night unlike Singapore whereby we have 24 hours coffee joints and eateries. Thank you for all your inputs. ↡ Advertisement

Sosaria Turbocharged February 14, 2009 Share February 14, 2009 Lots of replies saying it is boring... but I guess it's wat you're looking for. Depends on wat your idea of a good time is. People who love the great outdoors find singapore boring too, with few really wild places to go. I guess Brunei should give a lot of opportunities to experience a slower pace of life, new culture, nicer cars and open roads and cheap petrol, and the great outdoors, being closer to nature. Silver_blade Turbocharged February 14, 2009 Share February 14, 2009 Like many has said...it's a very slow pace place. If you don't drink...than it is an ok place to live...otherwise it will be hellish. [:)]

Only Shell Brunei have their very own map!! And yes you have to give way to "Big Black Car" some sort of Royal family.. we have Beer served in tea pot and tea cup!!
