Are you looking for it for driving tests? Then you probably need to buy the relevant guide books from Mighty Minds, etc.

 

Search for "Singapore Highway Code" at Yahoo.

 

You would not be able to find the official SG Highway Code (from Traffic Police or LTA) online. The nearest you'll get to part of it is at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_signs_in_Singapore if you do a Yahoo search.

I wonder why the relevant agencies are so reluctant to put it online?

Whilst it is good to have this for reference for those who can read English and interpret it, the Singapore Highway Code (or Singapore Traffic Rules) should be made easily accessible online and easy to understand by the majority of the public who do not drive (cyclists & pedestrians).

 

Note also that it seems to be outdated and does not include new items like "Mandatory give way to bus scheme, for example.

See the remarks at the top: "On 20/03/2013, you requested for the version in force on 20/03/2013 incorporating all amendments published on or before 20/03/2013. The closest version currently available is that of 25/03/1992."

 

The TP have replied in letters to the press that cyclists do not have right of way to cycle across zebra crossing, yet so often motorists have to jam brake when the cyclists suddenly turn from pedestrian walkways onto the crossing. Why can't TP use video clips to educate them to dismount and push. Then they can can understand and hopefully comply even if they do not understand English.

simple qn... 2 lanes turning right into 3 lanes. who has the right to turn into centre lane? left car or right car?

 

eg, jalan lempeng(oppo clementi fire station) turning into the clementi ave 6 main road.

My understanding it should be left car unless there is lane marking
