SGD to EURO

Recommended Posts

was browsing watch forums a couple nights ago and one view is that eastern side of Europe can get better deals on watches, as compared to western side of Europe.

sounds logical I guess.

What are the brands at E Europe, you know?

not sure, but I reckon would be the usual suspects eg Rolex, IWC etc ...

think it was just a general comment but makes some sense cos I don't see grey pieces from say France or Germany. Usually Italy.

basically should be able to get better discounts in the lesser developed parts of Europe.

No personal experience but I'll bet they're big on UN. Russians love that brand apparently.

The euro and the US dollar are at parity for the first time in 20 years

Quote

For the first time in 20 years, the exchange rate between the euro (EUU) and the US dollar has reached parity -- meaning the two currencies are worth the same.

The euro hit $1 on Tuesday, down about 12% since the start of the year. Fears of recession on the continent abound, stoked by high inflation and energy supply uncertainty caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
