Hoppie24 1st Gear May 8, 2009 Share May 8, 2009 UOB just up my interest but anyway my lock-in period is over, i remember there was a website to show the comparison of interest rates of different bank in Singapore. Anyone knows it or any good recommendation? Anyone lately just re-finance? can advise? I remember i paid some stupid admin charge for re-financing, is it a must? ↡ Advertisement

Geboz Clutched May 8, 2009 Share May 8, 2009 Just did my refinancing with Maybank in March with 3 yrs fixed int rate 1.6/2.2/2.9%. Legal subsidy is at 0.5% of loan amoutn with 3 yrs lock-in. Not sure if this promo is still available. Also check with Standard Chartered, they had a package in April that was quite attractive.
Karu 6th Gear May 8, 2009 Share May 8, 2009 you can try approaching any of the loan brokers. Most can help u look for a better deal. I believe the admin / cancellation charges can be covered by them or the other bank...
