UOB just up my interest but anyway my lock-in period is over, i remember there was a website to show the comparison of interest rates of different bank in Singapore. Anyone knows it or any good recommendation?

Anyone lately just re-finance? can advise?

I remember i paid some stupid admin charge for re-financing, is it a must?

Just did my refinancing with Maybank in March with 3 yrs fixed int rate 1.6/2.2/2.9%. Legal subsidy is at 0.5% of loan amoutn with 3 yrs lock-in. Not sure if this promo is still available.

Also check with Standard Chartered, they had a package in April that was quite attractive.

you can try approaching any of the loan brokers. Most can help u look for a better deal. I believe the admin / cancellation charges can be covered by them or the other bank...

Hi

I am currently having housing loan with a bank at 3.3% and they offer me refinance at either

1 year lock in

1st year 1.48%

2nd year 2.18% variable

2 years lock in

1st and 2nd year 1.88%

3rd year 3.75 Variable

What do you all think?

They will waive the admin charge of 400

Pretty good. Refinanced mine about more than a year ago. Lock in 2 years, 2%. Not very good. Citibank. But was better than DBS and...OCBC, I think?

I guess it was like that during that time.

Is it really worth it to have 2 years lock in? Why not 1 year lock in then 2nd year refinance again! <_<
